Compare USCIS counts for two asylum offices in the same fiscal quarter and source version. Office assignments and case composition can differ, so a gap is not by itself evidence of how either office decides.
Pending is measured at quarter end. Labels distinguish numbers withheld by USCIS from measures not separately listed in the source.

USCIS counting rules and source versions
Counts are I-589 applications. An application may include a spouse or children; these are not counts of all people.
Receipts and completions are summed from three reported months. Pending is the final month-end inventory and is never summed across months or quarters.
FY2022 and FY2023 count decisions made, including decisions not yet served. FY2025 counts decisions made for adjudications before 2024-01-01, decisions served for adjudications from 2024-01-01, and administrative closures. These definitions are not a continuous comparable trend.
Labels distinguish numbers withheld by USCIS, measures not separately listed and quarters without a verified office report. Withheld cells are never reconstructed from totals. Missing quarters are not interpolated. Future-month zeros in the FY2025 workbook are outside its reporting window.
Approval share of completions uses all recorded completions, including administrative closures. Denied or referred combines two outcomes and is not an EOIR denial rate. These counts do not predict an individual result.
Historical office assignments may change. Current branch locations do not inherit a parent office’s historical statistics. This release has no office-by-nationality outcome filter.
